StepOver products have multiple uses in office service. Some chain stores choose to use electronic signatures to avoid paper forms relating to internal accounting (employees). In this way, they can undertake accounting processes between individual branches and headquarters electronically and without communication failures. The automated processes lead to a huge saving of resources and achieve a certain degree of optimisation.
Paper forms that contain errors, that are incomplete or illegible and that often require a great deal of clarification between employees and corresponding departments, thus requiring many corrections, are now a thing of the past. In this way, all relevant information for individual accounting can be transferred to the relevant software for later processing in a fraction of the time that was previously required.
Another very useful application of the product is the verification and authorisation of accounts. In some companies, accounts are even authorised directly by electronic signature after being checked by an auditor. Given that our devices not only record the image of a signature but also biometric data such as the pressure and speed of the signing, etc., the signature can be presented before a court in the event of legal proceedings for analysis by a graphological expert.
The solutions provided by StepOver (both hardware and software) have been certified by the Saarland Association of Technical Supervision (TÜV). Furthermore, an independent graphologist, accepted by the courts, has confirmed that the biometric data that is recorded by our StepOver electronic signature devices is ideal even for comparison with signatures written on paper.
For use in office service, an electronic signature device with a smaller screen is usually sufficient, as the signer can see the document that is being signed on his own computer screen. Amongst our models of electronic signature devices, those that are best suited to this kind of use are: naturaSign Pad Classic and naturaSign Pad Mobile.
In the Human Resources department of the REWE Supermarkets, they stopped printing and filling in forms by hand, and put an end to the slow process of sending, scanning and destroying paper forms. They are all things of the past because, from now on, the administrative processes between the REWE supermarkets and the headquarters will be processed completely electronically through EDPP (the German abbreviation for staff portal for retail trade services). Any documents which require a signature are signed with a StepOver electronic signature directly on the system, and they are sent and processed electronically in a short period of time.
