This signature pad was the first signature pad with a black and white screen, it is flat yet extremely stable. The high strength is due to the specially reinforced sides: 40% of its 0.39 inch / 1 cm depth is dedicated to reinforcing the casing. Thanks to the standard mini-USB port, there are no more problems with the length of the cable. While desktop computers often require a long connection cable, with laptops, a shorter cable is more comfortable. With this port, there is no more discomfort with having to connect the cable under the table in fixed workplaces.

Thanks to its flat design, displaced sensor range with an underlying display, and on-screen "rotate button," which enables 180° rotation of the signature pad and the hand support, for the first time both right- and left-handed people can adopt an optimal writing position, similar to that of a paper pad.

The integrated black-and-white screen shows the signature in real time and can be used to insert text, graphics, document extracts, and interactive buttons.

The signature recording device of the naturaSign Pad Light series come as standard, with a practical protective case for transport and travel (the protective case is included in the list price). The case is made of high-quality recyclable plastic (polyamide) material and was specially developed to meet the high demands of intensive use in the most testing conditions. The protective case contains space for the signature device and the required USB connecting cable. In contrast to the soft textile cases that are commonly used, the protective case, with particular regard to the thickness, takes up little space in a suitcase, etc. For project use, the signature pad can also be offered without the protective case.

The naturaSign Pad Light features a horizontal slot to hold the pen, which protects it during transit, as well as another slot for use in the retail locations that allows the pen to stand vertically. The pen (naturaPen) is connected to the device so that it cannot be lost. Thanks to the new special material, the pen is particularly resistant to wear and tear, effectively protects the sensor from scratches. The pad not only offers comfortable signing on the surface of the sensor but also allows specific texts of a certain length to be displayed for each client. To insert long texts, we recommend our naturaSign Pad Economy. All naturaSign Pad models feature a unique hardware identification number (serial number) that allows each signature to be accurately assigned to a specific signature pad.

Every StepOver signature pad has a unique certificate for digital signature (up to 4096-bit RSA) which makes it possible for the pad’s secure internal signature creation unit in order to sign the relevant document, and to assign it unambiguously to a specific signature pad later as well. Furthermore, the signature pad contains a public key from a second key pair, created by a notary public. This key securely encrypts the biometric data of your signature on the signature pad. This way, highly sensitive data is never found decrypted in an "unsecured" environment: i.e., your computer. The private key from this second key pair is safely stored with the notary public.
