With this Citrix solution, communication between the signature pad and the server through the existing Citrix session. As with our TCP extension, a small software component must be installed on the client server. The StepOver Citrix module registers with the Citrix software on both the server and client-server  to transfer data over the existing Citrix connection. The advantage of this is that the signature software on the server does not pick up on the fact that the signature pad is not connected locally, and therefore, no special adjustments need to the signature software have to be made.

The plug-in forwards incoming requests from the server to the connected signature pad and the requested data (e.g., encrypted biometric signature data) are returned. Unlike our TCP extension, the StepOver Citrix module does not require the client IP address to be recorded, as data are tunneled over the existing Citrix connection.
